The Pharmacokinetic and bio-availabilities of two brands of Ciprofloxacin - 500 mg tablets, from local and multinational firms were studied in fourteen healthy human (male) volunteers after oral administration (as single dose) by double blind cross-over design. The absorptions were rapid and excellent. The bio-availabilities of Ciprofloxacin were determined from area under the curve of plasma concentration versus time. We did not find any significant differences in their bio-availabiities and propose that they should be clinically equally effective & Bio-Similar.
