Mopping Viruses and Infected-Cells with Medicinal Synthetic Aluminum-Magnesium Silicate {Al4 (SiO4)3 + 3Mg2SiO4 → 2Al2 Mg3 (SiO4)3}: Quick Cure for COVID-19, a Better Control-Method.

Abstract

Immune-deficiency is what, makes some diseases “incurable” or delays cure. In state of immune- deficiency, infections cannot be cleared from cells, inaccessible to medicines. Such cells are termed “infections-reservoirs” but literature reveals that: (i) Tumor/infected cells are negatively charged while healthy cells are neutral; (ii). Viruses are either negatively or positively charged; (iii). Molecules of Aluminum-magnesium silicate (AMS), WHO-approved medicine/adjuvant, consist of Nanoparticles, with both positively and negatively charged ends. These information informed our hypothesis, that mopping viruses/infected cells (opposite charges-electrostatic attraction) would terminate viral infections. Ultra-small size (0.96 nm) of AMS-Nanoparticles makes them reach all organs/tissues to mop viruses/infected cells. Adjuvants enhance antimicrobials` efficacies (against none-viral infections) while silicates enhance immunity. Mopping viruses/“viral-reservoirs”, clearing secondary infections and enhancing immunity would cure any viral disease including Covid-19. Since Nigeria does not have natural AMS-deposits, we synthesized Medicinal-AMS from Aluminum silicate and Magnesium silicate, abundant in the country {WHO-approved medicines, too: Al 4 (SiO 4 ) 3 + 3Mg 2 SiO 4 → 2Al 2 Mg 3 (SiO 4 ) 3 }. Glucose ® (simple sugar) was incorporated, to convey the un-absorbable Medicinal synthetic AMS (MSAMS ® , Antivirt ® ), into blood. To test the hypothesis/medicine, two patients each of, HIV/AIDS and Covid-19 were studied. They were treated with Antivirt ® and Immunace extra protection ® (antioxidants). The Antivirt ® was taken in empty stomach (≥ 2 hours after dinner) while the Immunace extra-protection ® was in full stomach (immediately after breakfast). Any other oral-medicine they took was taken two hours before the Antivirt ® or two hours after (avoiding Antivirt ® , adsorbing particles in food/medicines). The HIV/AIDS patients were tested every month till they became HIV-negative (antibody/antigen) before the medicine was withdrawn but the antibody-test continued while the Covid-19 patients were examined daily. It took 20 and 19 months before the HIV/AIDS patients tested negative (and remained so, at all 10 and 21-months repeat-tests) while the Covid-19 patients recovered after 3 days and were negative at the 14 th -day test. HIV/AIDS` severe immune-deficiency is what delays its cure. Since Covid-19 does not cause severe immune deficiency, the quick cure with Antivirt ® may be a better control-method. Also, adopting strategy of test and isolate/treat, globally, could eradicate the pandemic.
