Material and methods: In 24 patients with upper urinary tract stone which they will be a candidate for nephro- lithotomy procedure, after a consent is taken, in the operating room, after anesthesia, the bladder was catheterized and urine sampling was done and nominated as tube number one, after approaching the pelvic second sampling was done and nominated tube number 2, when a stone removed it was putted in tube number 3 with normal saline after shaking puta another tube number 4 with normal saline after shaking and crashing of stone, it was putted in tube number 5 and liquid fluid of all tubes were cultured for gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.
Results: In three samples the number one tubes were negative but the number 2 tubes were positive, and 7 samples of number 5 tubes were positive, overall in 12% there was no concordance with the bladder sample, 30 % of stones were culture positive.
