Abstract

Entrepreneurship presupposes production of goods and services for human consumption when factors of production like land, labour and capital are brought together as inputs, decisions taken, management done and calculated risks is spearhead. For instance, if a country is to achieve growth and development status, entrepreneurial activities are necessary like among the African Countries with examples like Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana among others given indices like economic GDP, technological advancements in relation to the modern and indigenous technologies, improved living standard with high calorie intake, shelter and higher educational and literacy standards to mention a few.
The disruptive wave perspective is therefore ' to rock the boat' in other to break new grounds. In the works of Shandler (1996) in the concept of reengineering, the 6 tools of realization, retooling, reinventing, rethinking, redesign and reinvigoration were identified as important determinants of disruptive idealism whether in technology, administration, management and governance as well as the economy and other areas.
The more than trillion dollars returns opportunity awaiting is a function of the yet to be annexed and explored human and material resources. The ones that can be repackaged given the global dynamics of the day and the ones currently being utilized below full capacity among others can be taking to the maximum global best. All these potentials are in African Countries given some of them like Nigeria as a case study whereby the entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship activities would be needed to drive and promote everything into reality.
