Abstract
Dengue is a worldwide issue in current scenario. It is caused by a mosquito type named Aedes aegypti. It causes various diseases such as Dengue fever and Dengue hemorrhagic fever. Now a day we using synthetic insecticides to control this insect pest that has the toxic hazards on the environment, and it is not an ecofriendly method for control of this pest. Due to excessive use of these chemicals, some allergic problems like encephalopathy and skin itching is observed. We need to use essential oils from Neem and Citronella to control the larvae of Aedes aegypti instead of chemicals. These oils are eco-friendly, target specific and not injurious for human health. In this research CRD method will be used for experiment. Different concentrations of extract of selected plants will be used against Dengue vector instead of Synthetic chemicals. The collected data will be subjected to suitable statistical treatments.
