Cancer is a substantial contributor to mortality on a worldwide scale, necessitating the implementation of novel strategies to supplement existing therapeutic endeavors. The objective of this abstract is to examine the therapeutic efficacy of Muscadine grape skin extract (MGSE) in the field of cancer treatment. The rich phytochemical composition of MGSE has attracted considerable attention due to its potent antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Beginning with a comprehensive analysis of the phytochemical composition of MGSE, particular attention is given to its robust antioxidant characteristics and ability to modulate the immune system. Studies showing the effectiveness of MGSE in treating different forms of cancer are reported. The mechanisms by which MGSE demonstrates anti-cancer properties were explored. The potential of combinatorial Approaches to Conventional cancer treatments was also discussed. Moreover, the toxicological properties and potential negative impacts of MGSE are thoroughly examined to address safety concerns. Lastly, the future perspective of using MGSE in cancer treatment was highlighted. Hence, this presentation offers an impartial viewpoint regarding the potential of incorporating MGSE into cancer treatment.
