Abstract

Distance between two points is one of the most important component in engineering and managements. In this Project, first we review on some fuzzy distance methods, and then we present a new method to determine distance between points for facility layout, which it is very useable, specifically when it is impossible to use other methods to solve uncertain points. The points were approximately and we have the maximum distance between certain point and approximate point (MCP), then we describe some special cases of proposed method. Lastly, some numerical examples illustrate the presented method as well as comparing it with other various ones. Totally, we try to describe and introduce MOER distance in details.
