Abstract

In recent years, Binh Thuan has a fast pace of tourism development and has achieved many encouraging results; gradually becoming a destination for domestic and foreign tourists. However, Binh Thuan tourism development activities in general, and community tourism in particular still have certain limitations such as: not yet exploited commensurate with the advantages of available resources, the product is not really diversified, community tourism is still spontaneously poor, the products are so duplicated and monotonous that cannot be appealed to tourists, the expansion of the tour routes has neither been effective, nor highly attractive to extend more length of stay, and increase spending of tourists, especially international visitors, etc. As a consequence, promoting the development of community tourism, in which the area partition of the community tourism is reasonable in order to have the right orientation, has been seen as a significant issue to develop Binh Thuan tourism in the direction of product diversification and sustainability in the upcoming period.
