The health of women is different from that of the men in many ways and that is referred as Women’s healthWomen’s health is not only about the reproductive system and its health, it is about the complete physical, mental and social well-being of a women. A woman represents the pillar of a family’s overall health as the family health is tied to the health of women. There is a famous slogan “Healthy Women, Health family” tells us the fact that a women plays a main role in maintaining the health of entire family and her community. Women often neglect their health as they plays many roles in fulfilling the needs of the family and always being focused on the health of their spouse and children. As men and women both have various health conditions, some health issues and disease affect only women. Most common issues women face are breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, menopause, and pregnancy issues. Women health can be improved by addressing the issues related to reproductive health, maternal deaths, malnutrition etc by quality and affordable services by universal health coverage. A well balanced diet, exercise, regular checkup of the health, awareness about the importance of women and her health in society is also needed to improve the Women’s health.

Nursing is a profession within the health care sector that deals with the caring of individuals of all age groups, families and communities. Nurses play an important role in health care system as they promote the health of the patient and their lifestyle, alleviate suffering, prevent illness, take care of disabled and dying people etc.

Pediatrics is a branch of medicine that deals with the health and medical care of the children, infants and adolescents under age of 18 right from their birth. Pediatricians specialize in diagnosis and treatment of problems specific to children. Most common diseases in children are cough and cold, fever, ear infections, skin infections, UTI’s, influenza, brochitis, abdominal pain, respiratory tract infections etc. The care of pediatric patients is different from adults as the drugs and medicines are different for both. It is important to have a frequent access of the child health by pediatrician as the growth and development of children occurs at his age.
