The topics of his research work are carrier transport, generation, recombination and trapping phenomena in advanced materials and structures for (opto-)electronic and photovoltaic applications, analysed by photo-magneto-electric and thermally stimulated methods. The investigation method of the transport and recombination phenomena is patented as an invention. Currently organic and inorganic photovoltaics is in the focus of his team. Prof. V. Kažukauskas is/was involved as a national team leader into the five large-scale international collaboration projects and the numerous international and national research projects. For his scientific achievements he was awarded the National Science Award of Lithuanian Republic, the National Science Award for the Distinguished Scientist, the Science Award of the Rector of Vilnius University and others. V. Kažukauskas has more than 380 publications, had delivered more than 60 invited lectures at the international conferences, and authored three textbooks.

Andrey Nikolaevych Belousov graduate from Kharkov Medical Institute in 1988. Doctor of Medicine degree on speciality - An­esthesiology and Intensive Care since 2004. The title dissertation: “Extracorporal hemocorrection using magnet-controlled sorbent in intensive therapy of intoxication syndromes in patients with hepatopancreatoduodenales dis­eases”. Author a new medecine products – nanotechnology preparations based on magnetite nanoparticles (Fe3O4) of the size 6-12 nm (www.nanolab.com.ua): the peroral form - Micromage-B (the biologically active additive officially registration in Ukraine); Magnet-controlled sorbent brand of MCS-B for extracorporal detoxication of biological liquids (officially registration in Ukraine and was allowed for medical practice); NanoBiocorrector for intravenous application – ICNB (intracorporal nanosorbent). A.N. Belousov is author new method of extracorporal hemocorrection using magnet-controlled sor­bent (MCS-B).  Author a new program for estimation degree the severity of the patient. Based on previously developed a universal analytical system of the physiological state of the body (PHUAS) by the author proposed a new automatic program objective assessment of the severity of the patient's condition. Overall, the program can improve health of the population in terms of underfunding by the rapid and objective examination of a large quantity of people. M.A. Shah doctorate in Condensed Matter Physics from Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi and graduate from University of Kashmir, joined National Institute of Technology, Srinagar in September 1999 as an Assistant Professor.

Before departure to Middle East, he has established World Bank funded Sophisticated Instrumentation Centre under TEQIP programme. Before returning to home land, he has authored “Principles of Nanosciences and Nanotechnology”. He has also authored two books on the advanced state-of-the-art of Nanosciences with reputed international publishers.

He is actively engaged as reviewer and editor of many scientific journals. Shah is also honoured as a visiting scientist in many prestigious institutions and has worked with the eminent personalities of the world at various places, where he pioneered the fabrication of nanomaterials and received trainings for operation of sophisticated equipments. He has explored versatile technique Safe way to Nanotechnology for the synthesis of oxide nanomaterials, though still in progress and practice. Dr. shah is a member of many science academies and societies and his work has been cited by number of scientific reporters as well as scientific media.
