Chamari Hettiarachchi obtained BSc Honors (Botany) in 1996 from University of Colombo and PhD (Molecular Biology & Biochemistry) (2003) from (International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Department of Cell and Molecular Biology (2004 -2006) and Visiting Scientist at Department of Biological and Environmental Science, (2011-2012) University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Her specialization is in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Microbiology and she has more than fifty publications in indexed international journals in the area of her specialization. She is a recipient of SUSRED award 2013 on the supervision and conducting of postgraduate research degree, presidential awards 2008 & 2015, Faculty award for research excellence 2019, 2020, 2021 and senate award 2019. At present she is attached to the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka as a Professor in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.

H M Sampath Kumar obtained his PhD from CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad (1995) and continued his work on development of indigenous technologies for agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals products of industrial importance. Later he moved to Max Planck Institute for Molecular Physiology at Dortmund as Alexander von Humboldt Fellow to work with Herbert Waldmann in the area of nuclear localization and gene therapy. After returning to India in 2002, he continued working at CSIR-IICT and later relocated to erstwhile Regional Research Laboratory-Jammu- presently rechristened as IIIM-Jammu in the year 2004. His research at IIIM-Jammu led to the institution of a new department dedicated for Synthetic and Biological Chemistry research with focus on medicinal chemistry and he served as the chairman of the department till 2009. He is presently the chief scientist at CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad. He is project coordinator and nodal scientist for the vaccine immunology programme at CSIR-IICT and a global consortium member for influenza vaccine project (INDIGO). Focus of his current research is on the development of novel small molecule immunomodulators based on natural product scaffolds, vaccine (Th1) adjuvants/ mucosal delivery systems, peptide epitope based wholly synthetic vaccines, pharmaceutical and cosmoceutical hybrids.

Dr C V Raghuveer got his MD in Pathology from the prestigious JIPMER in Puducherry in the year 1979. After spending a year at JIPMER he went abroad and worked in 2 different Foreign Universities for 6 years. He came back in 1986 and joined the world famous Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore as Assoc. Prof. in Pathology and from then on there was no looking back, he was promoted as Professor in 1988 and was placed as Head of Dept. in 1990. In 1992 just before the inception of Manipal Academy of Higher Education he was placed as the youngest Associate Dean of Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. As an Assoc. Dean he brought about revolutionary changes in Education, Patient Care and Research. To date he has 183 publications to his credit. As a Post Graduate teacher he brought in new avenues in teaching and learning which are still in vogue in the college. He was made Ph.D supervisor apart from being an MD thesis guide. He supervised 10 Ph.D scholars & 30 MD Dissertations. Being an astute orator he was acclaimed as an Excellent Teacher. Just prior to his retirement from Manipal Institutions he was transferred to Melaka Manipal Medical College for 2 years as a Professor. He retired from Manipal Institutions in 2011. A fledgling Medical College called Srinivas Medical College grabbed him and made him Medical Director cum Dean. He left Srinivas Medical College after 2½ years and joined Yenopoya University, where he was appointed as Director of PG studies. Very soon Yenopoya administration realised his administrative prowess and promoted him as Registrar of the University. He remained as Registrar for 2½ years before he was hand-picked by SDUAHER to occupy the position of the Vice Chancellor of the University. As a Vice Chancellor he brought about noteworthy changes in Academics and Administration. He registered 3 Ph.D scholars which paved the way for 3 more Doctorates of SDUAHER. After 2½ years he chose to go back to Mangalore and re-joined Yenopoya University as the First Pro Vice Chancellor. He was placed I/c. of Ayush Campus. During his stay at Yenepoya, he completed Certificate Courses in Palliative care, Geriatric and Music therapy He completed his tenure and joined the Yenopoya speciality Hospital as a Consultant in Palliative Medicine. He was recalled by the Management of SDUAHER in April 2022 to occupy the position of Pro Chancellor. He joined SDUAHER as Pro Chancellor in May 2022. His role as Pro Chancellor has been crucial.
Rebelee C Jeyasingh is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore, South India, then went on to get her Master’s in Nursing from Christian Medical College, South India, then graduated as a Nurse Practitioner from Florida International University in 2012. Ahmet Sanic graduated from Aegean University, Faculty of Medicine in Turkey in 1986.Then, he worked as a general practitioner for 2 years. In 1988, he started his speciality training in Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology at Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine in Turkey. In 1992, he became a specialist doctor. Her Research interests are technology-based nursing education, wound care teaching methodology and clinical practice. She Published articles in the areas like influence of registration council on clinical practice, concept mapping to enhance critical thinking, perception of students in clinical learning and currently working on validation and reliability of preceptorship development program. In her current position, she is working as Lecturer in Gulf Medical University, Ajman, United Arab Emirates since 2014. Nursing in her opinion is a career which needs updates daily and she never stop learning. It is a highly demanding career that brings new challenges daily, but with it comes real satisfaction and appreciations.
Dr. Mudassir Nazir had completed his doctorate and Masters from one of the prestigious university of India called Jamia Milia Islamia New Delhi (Central University). He has more than 42 papers, one Research project funded by ministry of Education government of India, one book, and four book chapters in my credit. He is active in teaching process from last three years and taught the most important subjects like constitutional Law, jurisprudence, gender justice and criminal Laws. Akanksha Chaurasiya is an Assistant Professor of psychology in Government Degree College, Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. She is one of the members of University's Board of Studies (Psychology) in Professor Rajendra Singh University, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. She has also worked as a convenor and member in several academic committees of affiliated college and university. She is a Doctoral candidate and Senior Research Fellow in Psychology at the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Huang Wei Ling born in Taiwan, raised and graduated in medicine in Brazil, specialist in infectious and parasitic diseases, a General Practitioner and Parenteral and Enteral Medical Nutrition Therapist. Once in charge of the Hospital Infection Control Service of the City of Franca’s General Hospital, she was responsible for the control of all prescribed antimicrobial medication and received an award for the best paper presented at the Brazilian Hospital Infection Control Congress in 1998. Since 1997, she works with the approach and treatment of all chronic diseases in a holistic way, with treatment guided through the teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hippocrates. She is the Researcher in the University of São Paulo, in the Ophthalmology department from 2012 to 2013. She is the author of the theory Constitutional Homeopathy of the Five Elements Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is the Author of more than 100 publications about treatment of variety of diseases rebalancing the internal energy using Hippocrates thoughts.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar Srivastava was Head of Vector Control & Entomology division of National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), Government of India. He has been Country’s nodal officer for elimination of Lymphatic Filariasis, headed the Planning and Coordination Division of NVBDCP, Delhi. He was In-Charge of Urban Malaria and National Filaria Control Programme in India. He served in different states as the Regional Entomologist and as Scientist in Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS, New Delhi and Malaria Research Centre now known as NIMR. He has worked as Temporary Adviser to WHO on many occasions in Member countries of SEARO and WHO Headquarter Geneva. He has chaired and co-chaired scientific sessions on Lymphatic Filariasis in USA and France. He has been a part of Indian delegation on Conference of Parties (COPs) 2017 for DDT reduction in vector control. He has framed state specific Malaria elimination Plan in Jharkhand state with WHO support in 2019. He has been Co-chair of Vector Control Working Group under Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network (APMEN). He has more than 50 scientific publications and has authored many guidelines including ‘Operational Manual for Integrated Vector Management in India’, and chapters in books. He has been conferred Vestergaard Frandsen Award 2019 by National Academy of Vector Borne Diseases (NAVBD), India. He has supported in Vector Control Need Assessment of India and Timor-Leste with WHO consultancy. Currently he is engaged as one of team members in drafting National strategic Plan for Malaria Elimination in India (2023-2027).
