Mr. Gashaw Beyene Kassahun is a senior lecturer in Adama Science and Technology University. He obtained his master of philosophy degree in nuclear physics from Addis Ababa university. He has been teaching many courses, mostly related to material science more than 5 years in Adama Science and Technology University. He organized laboratory center and teaching materials for undergraduate students. He worked in different activities in this university and at country level in different position and as a member parallel to teaching. He is pursuing his Ph.D program at Addis Ababa University in the field of material science starting from October 2017. His work experience and research interest are the synthesis and characterization of nanocomposite, green synthesis doped nanocomposite, and core-shell nanostructures for photocatalytic and biological application. He has three published papers and one book and also three submitted research works.
Dr. G. Theophil Anand is a physicist and a catholic priest. He is working as Assistant Professor in the PG and Research Department of Physics, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, Vellore District, Tamil Nadu, India. His research interest focuses on the preparation of nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications. He obtained his B.Sc., and M.Sc., degrees in Physics at Sacred Heart College and was awarded Gold medal for proficiency in his Masters studies in 2011. He obtained his doctoral degree in the interdisciplinary area of physics from the School of Advanced Sciences, Materials Science Division, VIT University, Chennai. He has published 7 research papers in international journals. He has served as an editorial member in publishing 3 books for Allied, UG and PG physics practicals. He underwent training programmes sponsored by DST Govt. of India, and had a hand-on experience in the use sophisticated analytical instruments in the various National and International laboratories. He has organized workshops and seminars with the funding from CSIR, New Delhi, and UGC, Hyderabad. He is a Visiting Scientist to Brunel University, London, UK from 2014. He has number of valuable academic and industrial contacts to his credit.
Pharm. Suleiman Yunusa has been a registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) for over five (5) years. He is a renowned researcher of Neuro-science and has many publications to his credit. He is currently a lecturer II at the Department of Pharmacology Bauchi State University Gadau (BASUG), Bauchi State Nigeria. He has served as a member research committee and has supervised many undergraduate projects. His professional membership includes Pharmaceutical society of Nigeria (PSN), Neuroscience society of Nigeria (NSN) and National Association of Pharmacists in Academia. He is the current Head of pharmacology Department, Bauchi State University Gadau.
Dr. Neena George is Assistant Professor in the Postgraduate and Research Department of Chemistry, Maharaja’s College Ernakulam. She received her Ph.D. from the Dept. of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology, CUSAT for the thesis entitled “Segregated and Random Network formation of MWCNT and Nanosilica in NR and XNBR”,. Her research area includes carbon nanotube composites with special attention to natural rubber based nanocomposites. She has 9 years of teaching experience and more than 12 years of research experience along with papers published in peer reviewed national and international journals with good impact factors. She has contributed two chapters in books under Springer and Woodhead Publishing and third one has been communicated to Springer for revision. She is co-author of two books and won best paper and researcher awards in conferences.
Dr. C. Kannan completed his Master degree in University of Madras in the year 1994. He received his Doctoral degree in the field of catalysis in Anna University, Chennai in the year 1999. He is working as Professor and Head in Department of Chemistry at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tamilnadu, India. He has 19 years of research & teaching experience. He have two papers in Top 20 Articles in the field of Environmental Science published by BioMedLib LLC, Virginea, USA. He have two patents for the discovery of Switch Operator to avoid LPG cylinder explosion and Novel dye gas (Fuel gas) to eradicate dye effluent pollution. He invented and published a new natural shaving Lubricant to avoid grey hair formation in young age. He has published more that 93 papers in reputed National and International journals and also presented papers in 105 conferences. . He produced 10 Ph.D and 27 M.Phil candidates and at present 8 Ph.D candidates are working under his guidance.
Dr. Joice Joel Zachariah is a Doctor of pharmacy (Pharm D) graduate from Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. She did her clinical clerkship and internship of 6 months at MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital, Hoskote, Bengaluru. Internship of 6 months was done at Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, India. She has published and presented many papers. She is currently working as a Patient Safety- Pharmacovigilance Associate at Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India since April, 2017.
Ying Li has completed his M.D at the age of 23 years from Beijing medical University (1962 – 1968). He was a general surgeon, and oral-maxillofacial surgeon at Nanjing Medical School. He completed post-doctoral fellowship in department of internal medicine University of Michigan, where he was appointed Research Scientist in 1997, and Research Professor in 2002. Li joined Department Biomedical Science City University of Hong Kong in December 2009. Li and his colleagues investigate the disruptions of amygdala - anterior cingulate cortex phase-locking and network information flow during learning-memory tasks and decision making in the rats with chronic pain.
Dr. Somenath Ghosh has worked in the field of hormone biology and congenital disorders of human physiology and involved in this area since 2009 both as doctoral and Post-Doctoral fellows. Presently he is involved in research where he is trying to investigate the possible amelioration of osteoporosis and other fragile Bone Diseases by biodegradable Poly-L-Lactic Acid-Melatonin (PLA-Mel-Nano-particles) in a CSIR funded project. He is serving Shobhit University, Gangoh, Saharanpur, India as an Assistant Professor. Apart from having numerous publications in journals of National and International repute, recently they were invited to contribute a “Book Chapter” in a Book entitled “Recent Advances in Food Processing and Technology” going to be published by Springer-Nature Publishing House, USA.
M.A. Shah doctorate in Condensed Matter Physics from Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi and graduate from University of Kashmir, joined National Institute of Technology, Srinagar in September 1999 as an Assistant Professor.
Before departure to Middle East, he has established World Bank funded Sophisticated Instrumentation Centre under TEQIP programme. Before returning to home land, he has authored “Principles of Nanosciences and Nanotechnology”. He has also authored two books on the advanced state-of-the-art of Nanosciences with reputed international publishers.
He is actively engaged as reviewer and editor of many scientific journals. Shah is also honoured as a visiting scientist in many prestigious institutions and has worked with the eminent personalities of the world at various places, where he pioneered the fabrication of nanomaterials and received trainings for operation of sophisticated equipments. He has explored versatile technique “Safe way to Nanotechnology” for the synthesis of oxide nanomaterials, though still in progress and practice. Dr. shah is a member of many science academies and societies and his work has been cited by number of scientific reporters as well as scientific media.
