Emmanuel Akomanin Asiamah is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of medical laboratory sciences with broad experience in histological and cytological techniques and the utilization of natural products for diagnostic purposes. He has a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with specialism in cellular pathology from the University of Westminster, London, UK and is also a doctoral research fellow with the Centre for Infectious Diseases Epidemiology Research Unit (CIDERU), University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa researching on identification and characterisation of novel biomarkers for lung cancer early detection in low middle income countries. Emmanuel has undertaken various multidisciplinary research to which he has widely contributed with innovative and collaborative studies, and publication outputs. He is also a faculty member of the University of Health and Allied Sciences where he lectures and conducts research in the area laboratory medicine.
Arame Ndiaye hold the position of teacher-researcher at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, with the rank of associate professor. She is a biologist, specialising in biochemistry and molecular biology. Concerning her academic activities, she has worked on two main axes: clinical biochemistry and cancers.
