Designation: Founder and Director University: PabCyte Country: India More Details
Dr.  Vikram Pabreja completed his medical school programme from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, Maharashtra, India in 1990 followed by internship at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. Having worked in intensive and critical care field for a decade, his observation that there was enough time with patients before they slipped into End Stage Organ Disease, made him conceptualize that a more precise scientific approach could actually give a U turn to near normalcy to these patients who were on a journey to become end stage organ disease sufferers.
His work on role of stem cells in infectious disease like, dengue fever, brought to light the regenerative potential of human body ( self generating platelets on being induced by pharmacological intervention). Further on he showed evidence based good outcomes of patients suffering from degenerative and autoimmune disorders with platelet rich plasma post in - vivo Resident stem cell stimulation and hyaluronic acid. He has shown positive outcomes in cancer patients when they received high dose ascorbic acid therapy, with or without conventional chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy. Elena V Drozdova

Designation: Cardiovascular Surgeon University: Samara Railway Clinical Hospital Country: Russia More Details
Elena Drozdova is a cardiovascular surgeon. Having taken an extensive practice in the field of vascular surgery, she mainly specialize in the problems of vein thromboses, urgent vascular surgery and vascular access for the patients on hemodialysis.
She graduated from Samara State Medical University in 2006. In 2007 after the specialization in Samara Regional Clinical Cancer Center she got a certificate in General Surgery. Later in 2012 Dr. Elena finished Cardiovascular Surgery Residency at Samara State Medical University and got a Certificate of Cardiovascular Surgery. She is an author of a number of medical articles so she was offered the position of editorial board member in some journals. She thinks it is a very important job to reflect qualitatively the objects which in generally are known but in our practice we may have different outcomes and various solutions of these not new problems.
There are some inconsistencies between practice and dogmas; moreover she guesses that many of laboratory tests make it more difficult to analyze the data because of their number and low specificity, so we can see neither solution nor direction in which this problem may be solved. Soon we will have all kinds of the organ-specific markers of inflammation, extremely specific chemotherapy and millions of people dying from cancer at the same time.  She thinks we should again and again evaluate the significance of cancer and its complications and actually complications of the treatment and of course the complications of comorbidity and not compound all these conditions in one heap called cancer. It is time to weed out the excess.
Also she is an author of several short novels, and being a graduate of the famous master of painting and sculpture L. V. Shereshevsky, She  has a great hobby – painting. She thinks that art allows us to see the world sharper and think extraordinarily.

Dr. Jyoti Bhojwani

Designation: Faculty / Coordinator-M.Tech (BioInformatics/ Genetics) Program University: Indore University Country: India More Details
Dr. Jyoti Bhojwani, is presently a Faculty of Genetics/Bioinformatics/ Principal Investigator of the M.Tech Research Programs (Bio-Informatics) at University of Indore, India. She obtained her B.Sc.(Bachelors degree) in Biological Sciences/Chemistry/Physics, M.Sc.(Master’s degree) in Life-Sciences, and Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) at School of Life-Sciences, University Of Indore. She pursued her post-doctoral ventures at Max-Planck Institute For Biophysical Chemistry (FRG), University Of California-Irvine and University Of Pittsburgh (USA). Currently, her projects mainly focus on translational-research and extrapolation of basic developmental mechanisms from model-systems like fruitfly (Drosophila) to human. Apart from this, her thrust areas of research interest include; Cancer Biology, Stem-Cell Biology and Homeotic-Gene Regulation. She is keen on studying in details the genetic factors, which presumably aid in understanding of mechanism by which “cancer stem cells” function in transforming a tissue from normal to cancerous states. Her research has a motive to further facilitate the perception of stem cell potential/mechanistic in areas of Regenerative Medicine, Translational Research and Anti-cancer therapy. Being involved in Clinical informatics, her students are also training a Cancer model and a Stem cell model, deploying Systems Biology approach and other Gene Networking Bio-Informatics tools. This novel area of research will hopefully lead to further understanding the tipping of balance from a stem cell/normal cell to a transformed cancer cell. Owing to her immense interest in science journalism and writing potential, she is now on the editorial board of several International Journals. Her Specialties Include: Research/Teaching/Mentoring/Science-Journalism
