Antonietta Baiano was born in Foggia (Italy) in 1972, 29th July. She is graduated in Food Science and Technology at the University of Bari (Italy) in 1996. In 2000, she achieved the PhD in Food Biotechnology at the University of Foggia. Professor Albert Kojo Quainoo had part of his elementary school education in Tamale and his entire secondary school education at the Tamale Secondary School, Ghana. In 1990 he graduated with a BSc. He is Professor of biotechnology and has extensive research experience especially in the tree crops such as cocoa and the shea tree. Robert Alex Isabirye is a person from a humble background. He was born is Luuka district, in the Busoga sub-region, eastern Uganda. His parents are coffee farmers. Born in a family of seven siblings, he has been able to move the academic ladders to PhD level. He holds two MSc Degrees in the animal sector and has worked in the animal production and health sector in different capacities, but mostly in the extension and research areas. He has worked in many parts of Uganda and this has enabled him to speak more than 50% of more than 20 languages spoken in Uganda. Zenesia Asiyih Phillips was born in the mining town of Linden, Zenesia Asiyih Phillips was the first of three daughters. After completing high School, she immediately got accepted into the University of Guyana, where she successfully gained her degree in General Agriculture.
This led to her employment as a graduate teacher at one of the most prestigious high schools in Guyana, President’s College, where she taught Agricultural and Integrated Sciences.
In 2013 Ms. Phillips was granted a Scholarship through the Indian High Commission Guyana, through the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). She obtained placement at Assam Agricultural University, India, where she acquired a Masters Degree in Soil Science.
Ms. Phillips went on to serve at the University of Guyana, Berbice campus in October 2015 and currently holds the position as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry. In addition to teaching, she has continuously shown interest in supervising student research projects.

He also secured Second position during graduation and First position in post graduation from BCKV in 1976 and 1978, respectively. Dr. Patra did his Ph.D. in 1982 from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. His doctoral research fetched him the prestigious FAI (New Delhi) Gold Medal in 1983. His research interests are nitrogen balance in soil plant system, soil microbial biomass and nutrient bioavailability, utilization of marginal lands through cultivation of medicinal and aromatic crops and agro-technology of high value industrial crops,  bioamelioration of salt affected soils and heavy metal polluted soils with aromatic plants as the model.
                 Dr. Patra started his career as Assistant Professor in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, in Rajasthan Agricultural University in 1982 and subsequently joined Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, (CSIR), Lucknow in 1987.  He has been presently working as the Vice-Chancellor of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal. His significant contribution have been development of dual 15N leveling technique for precise estimation of di-nitrogen fixation in cereal-legume mixed cropping system, concurrent transfer of fixed N to cereal, development of natural essential oil byproduct coated slow release urea fertilizer and technology for growing medicinal and aromatic crops in Usar land and other marginal lands. Dr Patra has published about 200 research papers mostly in SCI journals with total citation of nearly 2500, with impact factor of 120. Most significant research work of Dr. Patra is development of a morphine less, non-narcotic variety of Poppy (Sujata) to lessen the drug trafficking. One variety of vetiver developed by him is christened as “Dharani” his name, having higher content of vetiverol. Latest in his kitty is a variety of mint, CIM-Patra having very high menthol (82%).
 His work on secondary metabolites in extreme soil condition as drug precursors is highly acclaimed. In recognition of his work Dr. Patra has been conferred with several awards and laurels; the important among them are FAI Silver Jubilee Awards - 1980, FAI Gold Medal - 1983, PPIC-FAI Gold Medal - 2000,  12th International Congress Commemoration Award – 2005, UP Eminent Scientist Award on Natural Resource Management – 2006, ISCA Platinum Jubilee Awards, 2008 and member of the teams conferred with Golden Peacock Eco-Innovation (UK) Award, 2008 and CSIR Rural Development Award, 2008.
Dr. Patra is a Fellow of the Indian Society of Soil Science, New Delhi, National Academy of Sciences, Allahabad and National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi. Under Commonwealth Fellowship Dr. Patra visited Rothamsted Experimental Station, U.K. in 1983-84 and worked with Sir David Jenkinson and under STA-JISTEC Fellowship visited Hokkido National Agricultural Experimental Station, Japan in 1999.  Besides this, Dr. Patra visited Germany, Netherlands, France, South Korea and China (two times), Japan (three times) and Pakistan (in November 2008 ).
 Dr Patra is a honorary Reviewer of several national and international journals viz J. Indian Society of Soil Science, Indian J. Agric. Sci., Natural Product Radiance, Bioresource Technology, Plant and Soil, Biology and Fertility of Soil, Atca Horticulturea, Soil Biology & Biochem. Soil Ecology, Archives of Soil Science & Plant Nutrition, Pedology etc. Dr Patra is a member of the Research Council of Herbal Drug Research Institute, Dehradun.Dr. Patra has to his credit more than 180 research papers, 20 Farm Bulletins, 15 Review-cum-Chapter in Books, 2 Edited Books and 6 Patents.  Dr. Patra has guided five M.Sc. and 18 Ph.D. students for their thesis work.
