Dr. Shilpa Karkera is an Assistant professor of Neuroscience and Anatomy and the Course director of Neuroscience and Pre Med Anatomy at Trinity school of medicine, St Vincent and Grenadines. She was awarded as PhD Medical Anatomy at Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore(India) on 2018 and served as Assistant Professor, Department of Anatomy from 2012 - 2019. She has mentored many graduate and post graduate students during her career. Her research interests include Anencephaly and its associated anomalies with maternal testing, a review of Down syndrome, and the variation and importance of lip prints in different age groups. It has made over 30 scholarly contributions, nearly 20 peer-reviewed research papers. Current research in her account is on “A Study on Neuronal Tube Defects (NTD) in St Vincent and Grenadines:Incidence and Risk Factors’.
Dr. Nesrin Erçelen graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine in 1993 and completed her specialization in Medical Biology and Genetics at Gazi University in 2000. She received the title of Professor in 2021. She had worked as a fellow in Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NY; in Reproductive Genetics Institute, Chicago between 1997- 2000. She had the first license in Turkey for preimplantation genetic diagnosis labs. (2000) and Stem Cell, GMP labs and treatment center (2014) in Turkey. She has been working in university clinics in Turkey and USA for research. She has established and worked as medical director in American Hospital Genetics and Genomic Sciences Center, (2000-2010), Liv Hospital Stem Cell Manufacturing and Treatment Center, Istanbul, Turkey. She is the founder and medical director in Geneis, Genetic System Solutions (www.geneis.clinic) since 2006. She has been a professor in the Uskudar School of Medicine, Department of Medical Genetics. She has published many scientific articles related to reproductive genetics, regenerative medicine, and molecular diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Dr. Sarah Almutairi is a senior registrar family medicine of family medicine department in king Salman armed forces hospital North West region. She was awarded board certified of family medicine residency program in Saudi commission of health specialties in 2020 and the Arab board of health specialization in 2022. She achieved bachelor of medicine -bachelor of surgery from Tabuk university in 2015. She has 6 years work experience in family medicine department, and participated in family medicine residency program half day activities, clinical and research skills for the residents. She has also published four peer reviewed research papers.
Mr. Abdul Moiz is currently working in the Quality and Food Safety Department at “SAOR Italia Srl” Italy. His work includes implementing and maintaining quality and food safety systems standards as per retailer Food Manufacturing requirements and GFSI-recognized benchmarked standards on-site. He is a lead auditor for BRC Food & Packaging, ISO 9001 and FSSC. Moreover, He is involved in staff training at all levels related to brand Integrity, Quality & Food Safety programs and GFSI standards. He is passionate to create sustainable, innovative, and value-driven solutions with an entrepreneurial approach. He has more than a decade of learning, exploring, and challenging himself in the Asian and European Food Space. Since May 2020, He have been managing quality and technical aspects at the manufacturing site and collaborating with a range of traditional Italian products for major retailers worldwide.
