Ni Gst Nym Suci Murni born on May 25 1964, she completed her education at Udayana University Denpasar Bali Indonesia, in the field of tourism and cultural studies. She started her career as a tourism lecturer at Politeknik Negeri Bali in 1989 when she graduated from English language (Bachelor, 1988), Master of Tourism (2005), Doctoral in cultural studies concentration of green tourism (2014). She still currently teach for hospitality at diploma (since 1989) and teach some subject relating green tourism (master degree since 2019). Her research areas are tourism and cultural studies, or a combination of the two. Coincidentally, the umbrella of research on her campus is green tourism, so in the last few years she have been researching green tourism which concerns the economy, social/culture, environment, as well as gender equality and disability in the hotel industry.
