Olisaeloka Ebeogu was born in 1983 in Owerri, Nigeria. He was raised in a middle-income family with both parents as academics. He studied medicine at Abia State University, Nigeria, where he graduated in 2007. He went on to postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Neurology which he completed in 2021 and is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians. He worked as a Neurologist in Nigeria for two years before moving on to pursue an international fellowship in Neurology under the Medical Training Initiative of the Royal College of Physicians. Currently, he works at the Neurology department of the Leeds General Infirmary, United Kingdom. He is certified by the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) having completed all the steps the United Stated Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and intends to pursue a fellowship in Stroke/Vascular neurology in the United States.
