17th International Conference on Neurology and Spine Disorders

With Enthusiasm, SciTech Central Conferences are glad to declare a virtual conference, 17th International Conference on Neurology and Spine Disorders (SciTech Central Neurology 2021) scheduled on April 23, 2021. It could be a great stage for all academicians, researchers, scientists, students, faculty members, healthcare executives, doctors, industrialists, entrepreneurs to share their contemplation among all the participants. The interested speakers are requested to submit their abstract and video of the conversation. Exhibitors are invited to promote their healthcare products at our conference websites.

Neurology deals with the study and treatment of disorders of Nervous system. The nervous system is a highly specialized network which transmits the signals to and from different parts of the body. It comprises of two different groups of cells, Neurons and Glial cells. Neurons are the basic and fundamental cells which transmits the impulses to other cells whereas Glial cells nourishes and collect waste from the neurons.

The nervous systems controls the

  1. Sensations like smell, sight, touch, hearing, taste
  2. Ability to think and reason
  3. Helps to be conscious and have memories, thoughts
  4. Voluntary and involuntary movements, regulates the other body actions like blood flow and blood pressure
Nervous System is divided into two main parts: 1) Central Nervous System- which includes brain and spinal cord, 2) Peripheral Nervous System- which include nerves that control voluntary and involuntary movements. Brain is one of the largest and most complex organ in the human body. It is divided in to Cerebrum, Cerebellum and medulla oblongata. It will help us to control our thoughts, memories etc. Spine consists of 33 vertebrae arranged in five regions, it helps to provide support and protection for the spinal cord.  Spine is made up of 7-Cervical, 12-Thoracic, 5-Lumbar, 5-Sacral and 4-Coccygeal Vertebrae.

One from six people is affected by nervous system and spine disorders. Some of the Nervous system disorders include Parkinson's disease, Multiple sclerosis (MS), Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, Peripheral neuropathies, Bell's palsy, Epilepsy. Spine disorders include Arthritis, Degenerative disc disease, Herniated disc, Spinal stenosis, Spondylosis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Back pain, Basilar invagination, basilar impression, and cranial settling, chronic spine and back pain, Kyphosis, Osteoporosis and vertebral fractures, Scheuermann's kyphosis, Scoliosis, etc. Treatment of these disorders include medicines given as drug pumps in severe cases, spinal surgery, physical therapy, rehabilitation, Spinal cord stimulation, Deep brain stimulation etc.
