Case report is a specific type of report that include signs, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of an individual patient along with some demographic information. Case report research are descriptive studies of rare or unusual features observed in a patient during their medical progress and they raise new research questions. Types of Case studies include Descriptive case studies, Exploratory case reports, Intrinsic case studies, Explanatory case studies, Instrumental case studies, Collective case reports.
Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis of disorders and treatment of diseases and abnormalities involved in heart and blood. Cardiologists are the physicians who are responsible for the medical management of heart diseases and cardiac surgeons are the specialized physicians who perform the surgeries related to heart diseases.
