A new, rapid, simple analytical spectrophotometric method for simultaneous estimation of Miconazole and Neomycin in bulk. Absorption maxima of Miconazole and Neomycin were found to be 246 nm and 224 nm in different water, phosphate buffer 6.8 pH, methanol and ethanol as solvent system which obeys Beer’s Law in concentration range of 3.0–15.0 μg ml −1 and 5.0-10.0 μg ml −1 respectively. Validation of method was done with parameters such as linearity, precision, accuracy, limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) as per International Conference on Harmonisation of technical requirements for the registration of pharmaceuticals for human use International Conference on Harmonization of technical requirements for the registration of pharmaceuticals for human use. To study the accuracy of proposed method, recovery studies were carried out by standard addition method at three different levels (80%, 100% and 120%) and shows result with % RSD less than 2. The result was statistically validated so that method is further applied for quality control tool for analysis of Miconazole and Neomycin in bulk and for non-pressurized topical spray.
